Glass and textile containers removed at Picardie: let’s keep our neighbourhood clean together

Why are we doing this?

Too often, people leave waste next to the containers. This causes mess, attracts pests, and makes the area look untidy. Also, only glass and textiles are allowed in these containers. Other waste, like bulky household items, does not belong here.

What can you do?

You can still bring your glass and textiles to other collection points in the municipality. Visit www.gennep.nl/afval to find the nearest locations.

Do you have bulky waste, like furniture or carpets? Please take it to the Milieustation in Heijen. You can find all the information here: www.gennep.nl/milieustation

Please remember:

• Do not leave waste next to the old container site. This is not allowed and may result in a fine.
• Glass must be clean and empty.
• Textiles should be dry and placed in a closed bag.
• Bulky waste must go to the Milieustation.
